The Foundation for Civilian Bravery is accepting
applications from Sri Lanka citizens seeking to nominate candidates for the
Awards for Civilian Bravery as conferred by the Foundation for 2013.

Those eligible for recognition are citizens of Sri Lanka who
courageously-without concern of danger to life or limb-volunteer to save others
whose lives are imperiled by tide, fire, mine, and rough seas and similar
dangers by natural disaster or man-made disasters.
The awards consist of the Budal Na Gold Medal and Silver
Medals for Civilian Bravery.
A panel of judges, on receipt of the applications,will
select the persons to receive the awards on the basis of interviews and any
available supporting evidence.
